Before the Review:
Coronavirus continues to dominate the news, impacting people’s lives. Moving
on, the driver shortages for supply chains continues, the EU is offering leeway
regarding the Northern Ireland border checks, travellers to England will be
able to take lateral flow COVID tests from 24/10/21, rumours appearing over
anger that world leaders with the worst CO2 emissions will “no-show” at COP26, over
49 million have received the first Coronavirus dose whilst over 45 million have
received the second dose and many entitled drivers of German “luxury” cars as
well as vans continue to cut across lanes dangerously at very close range *facepalm*

Review: A follow
up was always going to be tough, even if the movie was set up in the previous
one. Portraying a character like Carnage on screen is somehow made a little
easier, given its rampages won’t nearly as much damage as Thanos
wiping out the half the universes population. But given what Carnage has done
in that time in Marvel Comics, this is probably more on the safer side of
portrayals.
Tom Hardy has writing credits here? It seems like he is becoming really invested
into the franchise as well as the main characters themselves. A lot of humour
comes from the Venom Symbiote itself, and I think Tom Hardy portrayed Eddie
Brock’s struggles really well, lots of humour, some adult in terms of profanity
language. Expect a sequel given the final third of the movie, and perhaps a new
set up with Sony, if the mid credits are anything to go by.
